Does it ever feel like you're swimming in problems? Your clients book a session because they need a solution to a problem. But your problem? Staying postive with negative clients.

The cycle of focusing on problems means that when you give clients ideas, your clients tell you about their problems with your ideas.

This causes you more problems. Problems to the left. Problems to the right. Everywhere you look around, it’s just more problems.

And here is the paradox of trying to solve problems:
When we focus on the problem we are almost never in the solution.

For most of the past 100 years, the predominant approach in psychology (and hypnosis and life coaching) has been a problem-oriented focus.

We have studied what is wrong, created diagnostic labels to fit those problems, and lived in the problem. Very little study has been done on happiness, and how to create more of it!  It was not until 2002 that the First International Conference on Positive Psychology took place.  It wasn’t until 2011 that Martin Seligman published his landmark book, Flourish.

But there is more to the story than a few good books or international conferences on Positive Psychology. There is now research to back the methods of these approaches. They show Positive Psychology Interventions (PPI) reduce depression levels and improve well-being. Studies show PPI improves health, happiness, and well-being. It helps people learn, it helps people navigate relationships, and it can even change self-destructive behavior (smoking, over-eating, binge shopping, etc.).

I want to teach you the PPI methods that you can integrate into your pre-talk, your hypnosis sessions, and  therapeutic homework you can give clients.

I studied Positive Psychology as a part of my doctoral work in transformational leadership. But when I applied what I learned to my client sessions, I discovered massive improvement in both my clients' experiences and in my own outlook on doing the work of hypnosis and life coaching. Over the past decade, it has become my predominant approach to hypnosis.

It has even changed my business! I no longer look at what is wrong, but rather what is right- and ask myself how to do more of it! The results have made me more effective in every aspect of my life.

Let me show you exactly how to transform yourself as you create transformation in the lives of your clients!

You have probably heard it said, “Where your attention goes, your energy flows.”

By focusing on solution-oriented approaches to hypnosis and making Positive Psychology the centerpiece of your hypnotic suggestions, you can answer these questions with actionable strategies.”

How do I help the person who is relapsing or keeps getting stuck?
How can I write hypnosis scripts that use positive suggestions?
How can I apply the PERMA formula in hypnosis to help clients create well-being? (This one is really helpful if you are doing any kind of medical hypnosis or working with mental health clients.)
How do I produce results in the first couple of sessions so that clients stick with the plan and continue to work with me?

The best part of learning how to apply Positive Psychology in your hypnosis sessions is that you move into what I call Problem-Free Hypnosis.

You have a chance to join me this May for a five-week in-depth training in Positive Psychology and the Techniques of Professional Hypnosis.

The class is online and available worldwide. It starts Tuesday, May 3, 2022 and goes for five weeks, meeting online each Tuesday at 2:00pm Eastern Time. Every session will be recorded, so you can access any Zoom meetings you might miss.

In addition to the weekly Zoom practice sessions, you will get instant access right now to a comprehensive two-part webinar focused on Positive Psychology and Appreciative Inquiry I did back in 2011. You will also get instant access right now to my eBook on Positive Psychology in Hypnosis where you will learn:

Scaling questions to help clients develop positive emotions.
The A.P.E. method of helping clients find healthy alternatives.
Tools for creating affirmations in hypnosis.
An overview of Positive Psychology so that you will come to the classes with a clear starting point.

A week before our Zoom event I will be posting three brand new tutorials focused on applying Positive Psychology in professional hypnosis and live coaching.

Each week I will post new tutorial videos with demonstrations and scripts, so that you will be able to apply these learning to the real work of hypnosis and coaching that you are doing.

This is a comprehensive online training program. If you are a counselor, therapist, life coach, or hypnotherapist you will find it revolutionizes your work with clients, your own life, and even your business.

The best part? Up to 12 Approved Continuing Education hours are awarded for professionals who need them, and everyone who attends will get an ICBCH Certificate of Achievement in Positive Psychology.
